The room was impecable, nicely renovated. The bed was very comfortable, the bedding, the mattress , the pillows, all very nice. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, with a very nice and modern shower, and many towels. The room was big with all the right furniture, we had a King bed. Fridge, Nespresso coffe maker with complimentary coffee and tea. Robes, safe, umbrella. A big desk and a comfortable chair and another nice sofa by the window. A big bonus, we didn't have to buy bottles of water. On each floor they provide plenty of free filtered water and ice. They give glass bottles to every room. Secure elevators, going up to our floor with our own room access card. The housekeeping is excellent. The front desk is excellent, 24/7. All the staff including the maintenance people were excellent. The location is awesome, and we always had a taxi available in front of the hotel. Buses, train, also near the water with water taxis. The hotel is right across from the BC Stadium, always illuminated at night, we had a very nice view. Plenty of good restaurants, bars, Shopping, entertainment, grocery stores, convenience stores, Pharmacies, Casino nearby, Central Library, theatres, Art Gallery, many other tourist attractions at walking distance (Canada Place, Robson, Gastown, Yaletown, etc). At the hotel we went many times to Frankie's italian restaurant, delicious, and attended to 2 different Jazz performances next door with the same menu choices for dinner. This is not our first time at this hotel, and we will repeat it next time we go to Vancouver.

This hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk to the airport train and it's right across the road from the Rogers Arena. We did a one day tour to Whistler and Land and Sea Tours picked us up right outside the hotel. They right next to Robson Street which is the main shopping strip in downtown Vancouver and it's only a 5 min walk to the Aqua Bus to Granville Island. It's also a 5 min walk to the buses that take you to Park Royal shopping centre and Stanley Park. There are restaurants everywhere and it's in a safe area too. The room was tidy and clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff on the front desk and room service and cleaning staff were all super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. If we ever go back to Vancouver we will definitely stay here. Hotel guests also get a 20% discount if you dine at the accompanying restaurant that looked really good and was always full with diners, which is a good sign. We didn't eat there but the menu was delicious. I noticed a previous review mentioned a funny smell in the common area / Reception / entrance ... that is simply an air freshener.

This hotel is super convenient to both the convention center and to Rogers arena. Rogers is less than a quarter mile and the convention center is literally across the street. The room came with a yoga mat and had the space to use it. You can also text the front desk rather than call which was really nice. Cleaning services come daily which I am finding less and less often lately and it was really appreciated. The bathroom had tons of lovely touches. Not just a hairdryer was available but a curling iron and a straightener as well. Tampons, shaving cream, razor, hair ties, etc. were all also provided. Robes and slippers to get to the spa and sauna were helpful as well.

A group of us flew into Vancouver for a design conference and we used the conference suggested hotel (the Fairmont downtown) which was quite disappointing for the price we paid - for the last night we decided to switch hotels (Fairmont) due to poor sleep (no air conditioning, loud locations and cold showers ) and went to Georgian Court. It was so fabulous, we had regret to not have booked it for the entire stay. Now we know. :) It was quiet, comfortable and the rooms were perfect for a good nights sleep, and the employees were very accommodating and friendly. We will all definitely stay here again.

We noticed our room was skipped to be cleaned up the first day at around 5-6 pm and we quickly informed the front desk. Thereafter, we went to the sauna and spa and came back to our room, and it was CLEAN and COMFY AGAIN! The staff is very responsive and they're really worked as a team to solve our issue and it somehow meets our expectations. They take our feedback seriously and I love it! I remember I ever encountered the same issue but it was with Holiday Inn, and to my disappointment, the front desk staff told me that the cleaner was not here and only can be done the next morning!!
